PERRY STREET RESIDENCE - NEW YORK, NY

This 1,800 square foot pied-a-terre lends subtle warmth and variety to the crisp, cool minimalism of Richard Meier’s Perry Street towers.

Concrete ceilings and columns were left largely exposed to capitalize on the raw, industrial feel of the space, while extensive butternut and teak millwork and eclectic furnishings provided the residential scale and intimacy.

Partitions were held back from the curtain wall to maximize openness, with circulation guided towards the light and views.  All the major spaces flow together to create a seamless, open plan; full-height aluminum sliding doors provide additional privacy when desired.
